Send to ePortfolios

This widget allows you to bulk distribute documents to individual ePortfolios.  Designed to allow to you share school reports, exam results etc... to only the individuals concerned (and their parents/carers). 

By using ePortfolios and their sharing options, you can control who sees the final documents, but this widget makes it easy to share multiple files to multiple users.

This widget is complicated to set up initially, but once done, you can use the process repeatedly.

Please note:

• This widget uses Frog's own APIs to search through the files, identify the users and send the files to them.
• The files need to have an identifying ID as part of the file name and this ID must match data stored in Frog against the student.  Ideally this ID will be either the student's UPN, MIS ID or username.
• It is recommended that as part of your workflow, you temporarily set the ePortfolios to "cannot view" so that you can verify successful sending without risking accidental sharing.  You can do this through the Edit Collection option.
• ePortfolios will require a Site Timeline widget in order for students to see the documents sent.
