Single Sign-On

Frog acts as the glue that links all a schools systems together. With Single Sign-On (SSO), users benefit from a single centralised repository service that federates individual school instances of FrogLearn.

This makes it easy to maintain registration information across multiple apps and takes the headache out of integrating with each school individually.

Control of users, their attributes and passwords remains with the individual school. Frog provides the authentication infrastructure that allows schools to make use of a wide range of online resources and services.

Frog manages user authentication and authorisation. We provide a single login for all managed applications. When a user clicks on the app in FrogLearn, they are redirected to the relevant app URL. Following a series of authentication messages going through the user's browser, the target application receives an SSO token which can be used to uniquely identify the user and their organisation.

Frog prevents Single Sign-On from users who have not been authorised by their organisation.
